It’s April 2024. I’ve watched this video many times since it first came out. I continue to be inspired by the message and the closeness between father and son. I must say that after they finish the song I could almost feel the love they had for one another in their tight embrace. The son’s grip on his father and” tears in his eyes speak volumes. The father’s “thank you” at the end supports the suspicion that the son did this for his father. How difficult this must have been, but he will carry this memory with him throughout his life. God bless father and son!

I gave the video a *Thumbs Down* because of all the nut-job religious nonsense that it stirred up in the comments section. Grow up people, he's not having a nap ("...may he rest in peace") in pretend *Sky Daddy* heaven-he's dead. And, yes, it's sad when someone dies; but I don't like that people start nattering on about a bunch of made up religious garbage at the expense of honest emotions. According to most people's warped theology, their pretend *Sky Daddy* is the one who gave the man the cancer that killed him- *the irony!*

No entiendo como personas pueden hacer criticas negativas ojala todos los que amamos este país , amaramos a estos soldados que exponen sus vidas para que el resto de sus ciudadanos duerman tranquilos . Soy venezolana y siempre le decia a mis hijos que si algun dia debian ir a una guerra, que fuera siempre a favor de Este pais EEUU, porque siempre amamos su historia , aunque nunca pensamos vivir aqui. I was honored to serve with LTC Weber while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, in 2002. He left a legacy he encapsulated in this song with his son. His legacy as a Soldier was the joy, hope, and love for his fellow Soldiers, and here with his own son singing this beautiful son, Tell My Father. You are missed, Sir. Hooah, MPs lead the way.

Have to go fight for Europe's interests. Not freedom. Any of this stuff has been for Europe. Still a cool send off though.

There's a person claiming to be a "Veteran" on RUclips. She signed up for the Minnesota National Guard while in High School 1993. She never went to basic training due to pregnancy. She has an NGB form 22 that says "4 months" of "service." How can she be a Veteran without going to basic training (she calls it "boot camp").

So sad. He died three days shy of one year after this was post dated. Rest in peace sir. Thank you for your service. And I also pray your family is now thriving 10 years now after you have been gone. I am sure they remember you well.
